Frequently Asked Questions

Once your booking and payment have been received, you will be sent a link to a secure online health screening form, please complete it at least 48hours before the retreat.  If you have previously filled out a health questionnaire with Natural Movement Matters you won’t need to do it again.

Further information will be sent out a week before the date of the retreat to confirm details, location and what you need to bring.

We will be both inside and outside as much as possible, so wear clothes that you can layer as well as allowing you to move freely.  Bring waterproofs, boots or wellies, hats are a great idea as it gets windy on the hills. Please bring a spare change of clothing.

A big cosy blanket and warm fluffy socks will help the sound healing feel even more magical.

Each of the seasonal days will have something different due to the nature of the retreat.  Enjoy a full day of movement (indoors and outside), natural mindfulness, forest bathing, walking, seasonal food, campfire.

The gentle rhythm allows time throughout the day to relax, reflect and rewind, so you leave feeling you have had a full weekend away even though it has only been a day.

We are in Lancashire, so be prepared for all weather!

Although we have an indoor space wear clothes that you can layer and that will allow you to move freely in. 

We will be outside as much as possible, so bring waterproofs, boots or wellies, hats are a great idea as it gets windy on the hills. Please bring a spare change of clothing.

No! This retreat really is for Every Body! 

We will be moving throughout the day and some of that may be on hilly uneven terrain, but the day will be gentle and you will be encouraged to do as much or as little as you want. 

If you do have ongoing health issues or pain, please get in touch before booking to make sure this day is right for you.

Yes. Please just let us know in advance.

We do understand that living with certain food intolerances can be hard, so if you would prefer to bring your own food, please do.  You will be able to sit and eat with the rest of the group with a peace of mind that the food you are eating will love your body as much as you do. 

 

Cancellations more than 60 days prior to the start date of the retreat will receive a full refund. No transfers or refunds are given for cancellations within 60 days of the retreat, but you can send someone to take your place though. Email us to let us know so we can make them feel welcome, they will also need to fill in the health questionnaire at least 24hrs before the retreat.
