Congratulations! You are welcome to book a Let's Chat session, fill in the health questionnaire and book your place on The Pregnancy Series, Natural Movement for Pregnancy Workshop or 1:1 Pregnancy Movement Essentials.  Once you are 12 weeks pregnant you are ready to start on your movement journey - until then try to rest! 

Not at all – you are welcome to join group classes right up until your ‘Birth’day, you just need to decide whether to join The Pregnancy Series or The Birth Series.  If you are hoping to join the workshop, make sure you book the Natural Movement for Birth workshop - it will be more specific to where you are at right now.  With a 1:1 session, it really doesn't matter where you are in your journey - this is all about you and what you need.   

Yes. Very! You will discover how you are moving now, why you are moving the way you do and ways in which you can make simple changes that result in an easier more comfortable pregnancy.  When you move better, your baby can move better - helping them to get ready for birth too!

Although nothing is guaranteed as Every Body is different – taking a whole-body approach has helped many pregnant (and beyond) to either significantly reduce or relieve SPD altogether (sometimes in a matter of days). Please know it is never too late and there is always something that you can do. 

Yes, discovering how you are moving now (and why!) helps you to understand why you have Diastasis Recti.  By learning how to align your body and breathe better your core will be able to function better.

If you suspect that you have a hernia, prolapse or that ‘something doesn’t feel right’ please see your Doctor first for a diagnosis, you may need to be referred to a Women’s Health Physio (WHP) first.  If you already have a diagnosis, please book a  20-minute call before booking anything just to make sure everything is safe and suitable for you as you work towards your recovery. Helen is very happy to work alongside your Doctor, WHP and other health professionals.

Absolutely!  It is important to prepare your body for birth - whatever birth experience you are hoping for - so that you can heal and recover fully.

Please make sure you complete the pregnancy health questionnaire at least 48hours before your session to avoid it being rescheduled. 

If you didn't receive your email confirmation please double check your email - it may have gone into your 'promotions' or 'junk' folder.  The email pixies like to sometimes double-check you know someone before letting emails into your inbox!   

If we are meeting in person - just bring yourself!  Getting to class can often be the hardest thing! To make it easier the studio is fully kitted out with mats, bolsters, blocks and straps to ensure you can modify where you need to for a comfortable class.

If we are meeting online, you will need a space to move, a yoga mat if you have one, if not - don't worry.  A half-dome, a couple of yoga blocks and a yoga strap would be helpful - if you don't have any of those a rolled-up towel, a couple of books and a scarf can be used instead.  

The Pregnancy Series is much more than just your class!  You will feel fully supported throughout your pregnancy through both offline and online resources, but we understand Pregnancy can change and no two pregnancies are the same.  If you need to stop altogether for medical reasons, just get in touch.

With 25 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, she recently qualified as a Body Ready Method Pro. She can take you from conception, bump, and beyond to help you naturally navigate your pregnancy and birth recovery with ease and joy. Aligning you with nature and the cyclical nature of your body through biomechanics, and natural movement ecology.

Helen is a mother, a natural mover, Treesister, freedom advocate, business owner and solo parent. She is Wildschooling her daughter and loves simple approaches to food, movement and play whilst moving towards a more simple way of living in the world.
